This road closure is part of the ongoing update of water lines to and from the water treatment plant. We apologize for the inconvenience and we all look forward to this much needed update of our 1940s era water lines. To learn more about this system upgrade, click here. Update 4:30 pm: The water main has been repaired and water service has been restored. Check for discoloured water by funning a cold-water faucet. If discoloured water is present, flush your system by continuing to run a cold-water faucet until the water runs clear.
If you do not have water at this time, please contact the after-hours line at 902-543-3251. Thank you for your patience. ******************************* July 4, 2022, 3:11pm: Due to damage to a main water line from the Water Treatment Plant, water service will be interrupted in Mahone Bay for repairs.
