Public Information Meeting Notice

In the matter of the Municipal Government Act and the Town of Mahone Bay

​TAKE NOTICE THAT on July 13, 2021, the Council of the Town of Mahone Bay received a request to enter into a Development Agreement with M.A.D.E. for Mahone Bay, owner of 66 Clairmont Street and the property immediately east and adjacent to 66 Clairmont Street (PID 60374063 & 60634151).

1. Amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy and Land-Use Bylaw to rezone PID 60374063 from Institutional to Residential.
2. Application for a Development Agreement to develop a 48-unit residential complex on both PID 60374063 & PID 60634151. 

​A PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING on this proposal will be held by staff at the Legion (21 Pond Street), on Thursday October 7, 2021, beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The purpose of the Public Information Meeting is to provide an opportunity for any interested person to obtain information and to discuss the proposal.
