Join us in congratulating Tim Merry, Mahone Bay's 2024 Representative Volunteer!

Tim is well known in Mahone Bay for his work founding and growing the Mahone Bay United Soccer group. Tim was the catalyst in establishing this group that provides an accessible and affordable soccer program for kids, youth and adults.

From very humble beginnings Tim's efforts have resulted in the renewal of the Mahone Bay Soccer Field, basketball court and revitalization of this area. Tim's worked with community leaders and the Mahone Bay Centre to create a fabulous soccer program with a focus on leadership and problem solving skills.

Through his leadership, Mahone Bay United has grown to work with several hundred children, training coaches and supports immigration and inclusion through sport.
