Community Orchard Event

The Town of Mahone Bay presents a Community Orchard event, with Dr. David Maxwell.

Join us this Saturday, May 25th at 2pm at the Community Orchard next to the soccer field at the Mahone Bay Centre (45 School St. Mahone Bay) to learn about pruning and training apple trees.

This is part of a public engagement strategy to make Mahone Bay an adaptive and resilient community, in the face of a changing climate. This strategy is called MBARC, which stands for Mahone Bay: An Adaptive and Resilient Community. Members of the Climate and Environment Advisory Committee of Council will be present as well as Climate and Environment staff.
