The new by-laws have been passed by Council and will come into effect on January 1, 2021.

Town staff will develop an Events Planning Guide to help clarify the process and what event organizers need to know to plan a safe and successful event in Mahone Bay. This will be available before the new by-law comes into effect.

Thank you to everyone who provided their feedback and suggestions as we developed these two by-laws over the course of almost two years.

The new by-laws will be posted on the Town website, as will the guide, so that everyone has lots of time to plan for a successful 2021.
