Public Hearing

On September 25, 2025, the Council of the Town of Mahone Bay gave notice of its intention to change the language in Section 5.12 Coastal Elevation of the Land Use By-Law to exclude additions to existing structures from the required vertical setback.

A PUBLIC HEARING on this proposal will be held by Town Council at the Town Hall, 493 Main Street, Mahone Bay on Tuesday October 21st, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive written and verbal submissions from the public on this proposal. A SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING will immediately follow the Public Hearing, where Town Council may make a decision on the matter discussed.
