Launching our new digital Town Hall News with Council Café Connect! DATE: NOVEMBER 12, 11 am - 12 pm. Municipal Awareness Week is a time to recognize the essential role local government plays in our everyday lives and to strengthen the relationship between residents and their Town. It’s also a time to celebrate collaboration, service, and community pride. In that spirit, we are thrilled to announce that Town Hall News has gone digital! Each month, we share small successes, celebrate community partnerships, and provide resources and updates on services through our newsletter. Moving to a digital format helps us be more environmentally responsible and cost-efficient, while allowing for timely updates, wider access, and link features to support meaningful community engagement. Join us for Council Café Connect To celebrate the digital launch, the Mayor invites you to a special Council Café Connect at Town Hall on Wednesday, November 12 between 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. This informal drop-in event is an opportunity to meet with some of your elected officials, chat about the topics in this month’s Town Hall News, and learn more about how your local government works for you every day. We are neighbours, and our community is shaped by how we show up for one another. By opening Town Hall and creating space for friendly, productive conversation, we are removing barriers and encouraging healthy civic engagement: the heart of Municipal Awareness Week.
