Would you like to acknowledge someone's contribution to our town and community? The Town of Mahone Bay invites the community to nominate an outstanding local volunteer for the 2026 Provincial Representative Volunteer Award. This special award celebrates volunteers from across Nova Scotia who make a big difference in their communities. One volunteer from Mahone Bay will be chosen to represent our town and be honoured at the Provincial Volunteer Awards Ceremony in September 2026. Nominations are open to include residents of Mahone Bay who have not received this award before. All nominees will be recognized during National Volunteer Week (April 19–25). Town Council will review the nominations and select the representative volunteer. If you know someone who gives their time, energy, and heart to our community, please consider nominating them. Nomination forms are available on www.townofmahonebay.ca homepage or at Town Hall. Deadline: 12 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2026.  Comments are closed.
