Happy Halloween from Council & Staff!
Motorists, please use extra caution as streets will be busy with trick-or-treaters and children may forget simple pedestrian safety rules in their excitement. To our youngest citizens: have a wonderful time and be safe. Make sure you can be seen (bright colours and a flashlight!), avoid masks that make it hard to see, and please look in both directions before crossing the street. Join us on Saturday, November 9th, at the Mug and Anchor, 643 Main Street, as we celebrate Mayor David Devenne's retirement from 16 years of service to the Town of Mahone Bay.
This will be an open house event, stop by any time between 2:30 and 5:00 to say hello and congratulations. There will be complimentary finger foods and a cash bar. Congratulations to Mayor Devenne on his upcoming retirement! Repairs have begun on the exterior of Town Hall. For a short period of time the first floor entrances are not able to be accessed.
If you need to visit Town Hall, please use the accessible entrance on the side of the building (the side facing the EHS building). Once you enter the building, you can take the stairs down to the front office. If you have accessibility concerns, please contact us and we will make arrangements.
