Call for Nominations - 2024 Representative Volunteer Award
The Town of Mahone bay invites nominations from the community to assist in selecting an outstanding volunteer to receive the 2024 Provincial Representative Volunteer Award.
The Volunteer Award is given to individuals from across the province who have made an outstanding contribution to the volunteer sector of their community. Municipalities, Towns and Villages select one volunteer who will come forward on behalf of all volunteers in their community to be recognized and receive the Representative Volunteer Award.
Representative Volunteers from across the province receive their awards during the Provincial Volunteer Awards Ceremony to be held in September 2024.
Nominations are open to residents of the Town of Mahone Bay who have not previously received the award. The representative volunteer will be selected by Council, either by consensus or ballot, following a review of the nominations.
To nominate a deserving volunteer from the community, please complete the nomination form and submit it no later than 12pm, Friday, April 19, 2024.
