Public Hearing June 29th 7pm
TAKE NOTICE THAT on May 25, 2017, the Council of the Town of Mahone Bay gave notice of its intention to enter into a Development Agreement with Mahone Bay Resorts, Ltd., owner of property at 659 Main Street (PID 60373990). The purpose of the development agreement is to allow marine-related industrial uses on the site, and the construction of associated permanent and temporary structures.
A PUBLIC HEARING on this proposal will be held by Council at the Town Hall on Thursday June 29, 2017, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to give the public an opportunity to speak on the proposal and for Council to receive any written submissions from the public before making their decision. Immediately following the Public Hearing, Town Council will call a Special Council Meeting and may make a decision on whether to enter into a Development Agreement.
If you are unable to attend the Public Hearing, but still wish to have your comments presented to Council at the Public Hearing, you can send a written submission to the Town Clerk by mail, email, or in person. Your submission will become part of the official record, and Council will consider it when making their decision.
